LO: To create a realistic green screened clip using IMOVIE 

Things that are included in special effects: 
-mechanised props          -makeup
-scenery                           -CGI
-scale models                  -gunshots 
-animatronics                  -green screen 
-pyrotechnics                  -stop motion 
-atmospheric effects 

Definition of CGI-  it is computer generated imagery visual effects created using computer software, that is used in films etc...

Green screening 

background 

Creating my own green screen-plan:
scene- cowboy fighting scene
background image- desert
position of people in the scene:
Natasha- behind the camera
Paige- fighter one
Abbie- fighter two 
script- Paige fake punches Abbie and shoots her first (just fighting) 
Props-  hats, guns, ponchos, sound effects( gunshot and fake punches etc...)


In the green screen video, we attempted to include a fight scene as well as a shootout at the end. Next lesson we are going to add the green screen onto the background and crop it so that Abbie leaves the screen.

We edited the video onto the background+ cropped the ends so that the green screen was the only thing we saw and added punching effects as well as a gunshot at the end.

Trailers & Genre

Wednesday 12th January  Lo: to explore the different features of iMovie & experiment with different genre features  family/comedy- horror I chose toy story trailer 4 which is a comedy and fiction film into a horror genre by changing the music, catchy suspense text, using fade to black endings of each scene to create a new different genre of the trailer.  WWW: used the scary scenes to make it seem worse , as well as graphics. EBI: take out more talking scenes to make it more realistic add dialogue into some parts.
