Lo: explore the use of adobe illustrator to create a magazine masthead

Genre:
In these magazine covers, they are all under the fashion genre. They all have bold mastheads and a colour palet of red, gold, white and black. The shot types vary from a medium long shot to a close up to get a better idea of there fashion and the model. 





















The mastheads all have a mixture of lower case and upper case in all of the four above they hare bold to make it stand out.

Lo:To use adobe illustrator to create an effective magazine masthead 

1. My magazine genre is music and the sub-genre is pop
2. My title is for the magazine is official pop chartz 
3. Im going to use bright colours for the genre 'pop'


I prefer the first design as it is bright and colourful, but the second design i also like the idea of the word 'chartz'.

Media Language Analysis

Wednesday 6th of October  Lo: To analyse a media text using media language Camerawork -The camera shot is a medium long shot  -I think they have chosen this camera shot to hook more people into watching the film, as he is wearing different style of clothes then he what he normally wears. Also to capture more detail like facial expressions, him holding a gun in his hand, holster, shadows and more. If they had did a mid shot or a close up you wouldn't seen much of the detail such as the: holster, gun and style of clothing.  Mise-en-scene -The clothing in the poster gives us the feeling of him being a hitman as he is wearing casual clothes, with black gloves which could surgests that he doesn't want to leave any evidence behind like some sort of spy. He is also wearing a watch which links with the title (no time to die) giving us the impression that there is some sort of pressure of time like a bomb or a mission that is limited in time as the font is military based suggestin...
